Crest is a Finnish combat sports brand with high-quality and rigorously tested products, prioritizing safety and ergonomics with a distinctive, recognizable style and design. Once you put on Crest gloves, you'll hardly dream of anything else again. Our products are also responsibly manufactured, and integrity, fairness, and straightforwardness are our absolute values.
The journey has been diverse and nuanced - rocky and victorious. Today, we offer our customers excellent value-for-money combat sports gear, and Crest is one of the most recognized combat sports brands in Finland. Our product catalog within the Finnish martial arts scene, especially in boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, is comprehensive, and the journey to becoming Finland's most desired combat sports equipment supplier is well underway. Our future vision is to increasingly direct sales towards international markets.
The journey has indeed been at times rocky, with its share of setbacks. The most challenging battle along this path occurred right after the difficult times of the pandemic in July 2022 when the main warehouse on the entire farm went up in flames, reduced to ashes by a single lightning strike. Everything carefully planned and acquired over the years burned in the fire.
The warehouse fire was a significant shock and a moment of despair. Mikko struggled and cried in his surreal state for half a day. No more. On the same day, he was already loading a van full of goods into a new warehouse and taking inventory. Mikko knew he would rise and once again be even stronger.
Everything is well in the Crest empire today. There are two warehouses in Helsinki and Tervo, and a new large warehouse is under construction to replace the old one that burned down.
Like every fighter, visionary, and leader – after the initial shock, Mikko's own fighter spirit truly rose. He rallied and realized that this was a new opportunity – an opportunity to build a stronger brand and perfect the products so that they proudly endure throughout the Finnish market and, subsequently, on the international stage. Let's go!
